Receptionist: Happy to help. I have Thursday at 4 or Friday at 10, and I'll note that you'd like Maria. Which works better?

Why salons and barbershops use an AI receptionist
- Stylists and barbers are with clients all day, and stopping to answer the phone slows everyone down.
- Many booking calls come in during your busiest hours, exactly when nobody can pick up.
- A caller who reaches voicemail often books somewhere else online.
Calls it handles
- ✓New and repeat appointment bookings
- ✓Requests for a specific stylist or barber
- ✓Price questions on your service menu
- ✓Rescheduling, cancellations and running late
- ✓Hours, walk-ins and parking
- ✓Gift card and product questions
What it asks every caller
- ✓Name and best callback number, read back
- ✓Service wanted, such as cut, color or beard trim
- ✓Preferred stylist or barber
- ✓Preferred day and time
- ✓New or returning client
- ✓Anything the stylist should know, like color history
Running late and last-minute changes get flagged
Salon calls are rarely emergencies, but timing matters. When a client calls to say they're running late or need to cancel today, the receptionist flags it so you see it between clients, and it reads your cancellation policy word for word.
How booking works
Appointments go into your salon's Google Calendar, with the stylist the client asked for written into the booking. It only quotes prices from your service menu and asks the stylist to confirm anything custom, like color corrections.
What it costs
Plans start at $49 a month for 100 minutes, about 40 calls. For most salons and barbershops we recommend Growth: $99 a month for 500 minutes, with text summaries and live transfer of urgent calls. Every plan includes 24/7 answering, Google Calendar booking, recordings and transcripts, and setup done for you. See all plans.
Questions salons and barbershops ask us
Can it book with a specific stylist?
It books into one shared salon calendar and writes the stylist the client asked for into the booking, so your team can see it. Separate calendars for each stylist aren't supported yet.
We already use online booking. Why add this?
Some clients will always prefer to call. The receptionist books those callers too, and answers questions online booking can't, like whether you can fit a color in today.
Will it upsell services?
Only if you want it to and tell us how. For example, it can mention a deep-conditioning add-on when someone books color.
Is it worth it for a one-chair barbershop?
The Starter plan is built for that: 100 minutes a month, which is about 40 calls, and no setup fee.
