Voxlivo AIVoxlivo AI

AI receptionist for law firms

Potential clients call when something has just gone wrong, often at night. Voxlivo answers in about two seconds, takes the intake details you need, books the consultation, and makes sure the call doesn't go to the next firm on the list.

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. No card needed, we do the setup, and you only pay if you keep it.

Example call · Hart & Cole Law (illustrative)

Receptionist: Thanks for calling Hart and Cole Law. I'm the virtual assistant, and this call may be recorded. How can I help?

Caller: I was in a car accident last week and the other driver's insurance keeps calling me.

Receptionist: I'm sorry that happened. I can't give legal advice, but I can set up a consultation with an attorney. Can I get your name and the best number to reach you?

Caller: Kevin Patel, 404 555 0191.

Receptionist: Thanks Kevin, 4-0-4, 5-5-5, 0-1-9-1. Is there any deadline coming up, like a court date?

Caller: No, nothing like that yet.

Receptionist: Okay. I have a free consultation tomorrow at 10 or 2. The attorney will go over everything with you then.

Why law firms use an AI receptionist

  • People looking for a lawyer often call several firms and hire the first one that responds.
  • Solo attorneys and small firms are in court, in meetings or with clients during the day.
  • Consistent intake questions mean every lead arrives with the information you need to follow up.

Calls it handles

  • ✓New client inquiries by practice area
  • ✓Consultation booking
  • ✓Existing clients asking for a callback
  • ✓Court date and document questions for your team
  • ✓Fees and consultation cost, if you publish them
  • ✓Office hours and directions

What it asks every caller

  • ✓Name and best callback number, read back
  • ✓Type of legal matter, in the caller's words
  • ✓Brief description and any upcoming deadline or court date
  • ✓Names of other parties, if you want them for a conflict check
  • ✓How they heard about the firm
  • ✓Preferred consultation time

Deadlines and emergencies get flagged

If a caller is in immediate danger, the receptionist tells them to call 911. If they mention an arrest, a court date this week or another deadline, it marks the call urgent and, on Growth and above, transfers it to the number you choose.

How booking works

Consultations go into Google Calendar. The receptionist never gives legal advice and never says whether a caller has a case. It tells them an attorney will review the details and follow up.

What it costs

Plans start at $49 a month for 100 minutes, about 40 calls. For most law firms we recommend Growth: $99 a month for 500 minutes, with text summaries and live transfer of urgent calls. Every plan includes 24/7 answering, Google Calendar booking, recordings and transcripts, and setup done for you. See all plans.

Questions law firms ask us

Will it give legal advice?

Never. It's scripted to say it can't give legal advice, take the intake details and book a consultation. It doesn't say whether someone has a case.

Can it run a conflict check?

It can collect the names of the other parties so your team can run the check before the consultation. It doesn't check them against your records itself.

Does it work with Clio or MyCase?

Not directly. It books into Google Calendar and emails a complete intake summary that your team can add to your practice-management software.

Can it handle different practice areas?

Yes. It can ask different intake questions for, say, family law and personal injury, and on Pro you can use separate scripts per practice area.
